The Kistler Group's development into an international enterprise with a constantly growing number of subsidiaries made it desirable, and even necessary, to have an information platform for all employees worldwide.
Ever since 1970, Kistler had published a german-language magazine called «Kristall» for its Winterthur workforce, and it would serve as a model.
In 2003, Urs Emmenegger was commissioned to conceive and prepare such an international sibling to Kristall and, in April 2004, the first issue of «insight» was published. It goes to all group companies in April, August and December.
